Built in the 15th century, the palace was the main residence of the sultans. From the 15th century to the 19th century, the palace hosted legendary Ottoman sultans and has a very different architecture from western-style palaces. You must see the Harem, the Department of Holy Relics and the Baghdad Pavilion with its golden roof.
